“A swimming pool and a beach are places for people to enjoy their personal experience. At that moment, other rules apply. Personal belongings are covered by a towel only, bodies are shown, all in a state of self-evidence. In many of my large floor sculptures, I often used the swimming pool as metaphor for my sculptures, where plastic foil represents the water.”
